Kara’s love of dancing began in 1999 when she was introduced to West Coast Swing. She spent 3½ years broadening her horizons through ballroom, latin, ballet, hip hop, etc. During her career at a nationally known studio, she earned the position of Sr. Staff, Trainer and won countless individual and team accomplishments such as: Top Teacher, Top Studio, Professional Callbacks, Best Costumes, Best Routine, Most Entertaining – in addition to the consistently high placements for her students who competed. In 2005, she left the ballroom scene to focus once again on her love of WCS. In her first Jack & Jill, which was All Star division due to her status as an instructor, Kara was one of the ten who made callbacks out of 40 other followers! Since then, she has enjoyed placing in Jack & Jill, partnering with other pros for Strictly Swing, and – the biggest one of all – being blessed with a partnership with one of the most talented and well loved leaders in the West Coast world, Terry Roseborough!
